David Henderson


As the Artistic Director of METHOD MACHINE, David has directed An Evening with Mrs. Davis, Neighborhood 3: Requisition of Doom, The Lipstick Massacre, Closer, EdgeLux in Tenebris, and The Second Coming of Joan of Arc; co-directed This is Our Youth; produced Spring It On: A Broadway Cabaret, Love Triangle, and with Stasz/Pruitt produced Fat Pig, A Little Happy Mess and An Adult Evening of Shel Silverstein; curated five exhibits in The Method Lab, including "A Tibetan Pilgrimage", "Bushwacked!" and "Famous Faces." 

 At the JCC, he directed the recent productions of  Lebensraum & Caroline or Change, which played to sold out houses, as well as readings of Angels in America Mrs. Farnsworth. At the Eastman School of Music he directed Ricardo Zohn- Muldoon's new opera Comala and at Nazareth College, The Laramie Project, for which he was recognized by the Kennedy Center for exceptional work.

In New York, Henderson directed at New York Theatre Workshop, Gallery Players, Chashama and The Ontological Theatre. He was the Assistant Director on the West End production of Wit. Henderson also worked as a producer and manager on such Broadway and Off- Broadway such as: Sideman, Wit, The Phantom of the Opera, The Bitter Tears of Petra von Kant, Doubt, The Producers and Jersey Boys.
